MIG
Steel · fast · strong
The workhorse. Fence panels, gate frames, trailer repairs, brackets, security bars, shelving, anything mild steel that needs to hold and does not need to be pretty.
MIG · TIG · Stick · Houston 77008
Broken gate. Cracked trailer hitch. Railing pulling off the porch. Bracket that has to be made, not bought. I do the small metal jobs the big shops turn down, in the Heights, River Oaks, Montrose and around.
Free estimates. Most quotes back same day. Evenings and weekends.
Three processes, one truck. If you are not sure which one your job needs, that is my problem, not yours. Send a photo.
Steel · fast · strong
The workhorse. Fence panels, gate frames, trailer repairs, brackets, security bars, shelving, anything mild steel that needs to hold and does not need to be pretty.
Aluminum · stainless · clean
When the weld shows. Stainless railings, aluminum trailer parts, thin-wall tubing, furniture, art pieces, boat and BBQ hardware. Slower, cleaner, worth it on visible work.
Outdoors · rusty · thick
Wind, rain, rust, paint, thick plate. Structural-ish repairs on posts, hitches and heavy brackets where MIG would fight the conditions. Runs off the truck, no shore power needed.
Certified structural steel, pressure vessels, pipeline, code-stamped work, and anything a permit or engineer sign-off rides on. That work needs a certified welder and I will tell you straight instead of taking your money. Ask me and I will point you at someone who does it.
No mystery pricing. Here is the actual math I use.
Small repair, on site
$85–$150
One or two welds, under an hour. Loose railing, cracked bracket, gate hinge.
Half-day job
$225–$400
Two to four hours. Gate rebuild, multiple fence sections, trailer repair with fab work.
Custom fabrication

Priced from a drawing or photo. Materials at cost plus 15 percent, labor by the hour.
Based in the Heights. I keep the radius tight on purpose so I can get to you fast and not charge you for a drive across Houston.
Just outside the list? Ask anyway. If the job is worth the drive I will quote the trip charge up front.
My name is Jeff. I am a welding student in Houston and I run this on evenings and weekends, which is exactly why my rate is what it is. You are getting careful work from someone still building a reputation instead of a shop rate from someone who already has one.
What that means for you: I show up when I say, I send you a photo of the finished weld, and I would rather turn down a job than do one badly with my name on it. If a repair is not going to hold, I will tell you it is not going to hold.
Scheduling is honest too. School comes first, so I book weekday evenings after 4:30 and most of Saturday and Sunday. If your job needs a Tuesday morning, I am the wrong guy and I will say so on the first text.
Fastest way is a text with a photo. If you would rather type it out, use this and I will get back to you the same day.
